Non- Insurance Owners Be Alert

The transport department in the parliament outlines the final details of Continuous Insurance Enforcement legislation so rush to car insurance supermarket to get the best insurance deal. Both the Motor Insurers’ Bureau and DVLA are working together to identify the uninsured vehicles driving on the UK roads.
The motorists with uninsured vehicles will receive a letter of warning first telling them about their vehicle uninsured status, which might cause them a huge fine. If the keeper neglects the warning and continues to keep the vehicle uninsured, he will have to pay the fine. Still after smashing fine receipt on the motorist if he did not take the necessary steps, the vehicle will be seized, clamped or destroyed. The vehicle will only be released when the keeper provides evidence that the registered keeper is no longer committing an offence of having no insurance and the person proposing to drive the vehicle away is insured to do so.
The CIE will send warning and advisory letters to the non-insured by the end of June this year. After that, the publicity campaign of CIE scheme will try to raise awareness among the non-insurance owners. The awareness campaign might help the non-insurance owners to take the reasonable insurance policy from car insurance supermarket.
The vehicles with valid Statutory off Road Notice will not get the notice, as these vehicles have been called off from road from their respective owners. The drivers who are not sure of their insurance cover or do not have the idea of the expiry date can check the insurance status of the vehicle through the MID database.
