Van Insurance & The 5%
Posted on January 31st, 2011
Van insurance can be astronomical today, especially if you have had an accident in the past couple of years or do not quite conform to the criteria that they put in place for their assessments but did you know that there is 5% of the country that insurance providers do not tend to offer quotes for. This was confirmed by one of the major insurers a few weeks ago and leaves some drivers in the lurch. If your van is stored in that 5% of the country though, you could find your business severely compromised.
The 5% of the country that one insurer does not cover may differ slightly from another provider so shopping around is the key to finding van insurance in areas that you may struggle.

Cheap Car Insurance & Fuel Costs
Posted on January 20th, 2011
Hands up everyone who happens to think that the current cost of petrol is disgusting! Yes, me too. With petrol costs rising and wages remaining low, it is going to get so much more difficult to keep your car on the road, even if you can get cheap car insurance premiums by comparing insurance right here online at Powerseeker. However, there are things you can do to keep your fuel consumption as low as possible and therefore save money on fuel.
The first thing is to remove anything from your car that you do not need. For example, if you keep anything heavy in there then it actually makes your car heavier and uses more fuel. Similarly, you can keep your tyres fully inflated to reduce fuel consumption.
