According to a research, the students attending their class in early morning are more likely to indulge in road accidents as compared to the one attending their classes late. The students of 16-18 years old attending classes at 08:40 – 8:45 rather than 07:20 – 07:25 are found to be safe driver as compared to early school goers. According to a survey, 41% of the early goers are more likely to involve in accidents as compared to late school goers.
The early school goers are sleep restricted so their mind could not concentrate well on road and causes rise in crash rate. This hypothesis is supported by the study done on school going teenagers but results need back up of subsequent studies. It is evident that when we are not having good sleep we are not able to concentrate on work whether it is office or home work or driving.
The car owner with good sleep have fresh mind and can easily concentrate on road while driving. The driver with safe driving is preferred by the insurer and get good discount on the policy. The good drivers are less involved in any accident so make fewer claims and get more preference by the insurer.
The proper concentration of the driver on road is needed to drive safely but due to sleep restriction, the car owner either is met with an accident or damages the car. The driver with low road concentration has to face hike in insurance quotes. One can compare car insurance quotes to get reasonable deal online but the driver with poor driving skill will find it hard to crack good insurance deal.
